How much should I offer for this used car?

==== the car looks real clean and the interion seems good ... most anything that runs fair is worth at least $2500.00 .. so offer the owner $2400.. and open the negotations for price ... 26/2800 is a good price .... if the guy is stuck on 3000 .. you should walk away and find a better deal ((unless you are willins to pay $1200.00 over the book assessment price ...........
