Need help selling my ring on ebay?

I have an engagement ring from my last relationship, and it appraised for $1,500. I am not expecting to get all 1,500 out of it but I would like to get 600-800 atleast because thats around what I paid for it. I cant really read what the appraiser wrote on the paper, so would it be ok to just take a picture of the paper and pictures of the ring and set the buy it now for like 800? How much do YOU think i can get out of it?
