Why is God's name replaced with "LORD" in almost every Bible translation?

because of the trinity, it took me a while but after studying this i learned that "god+jesus(lord) + Holy Spirit= one" three in one hence the word trinity, personally i dont read the KJV version instead i read the new living translation(which breaks it down for you) and NASB (New American Standard). the NASB is the closest to the greek translation so its way more reliable. hope this helps:)
