Loaded guns and long term storage?

I inherited a lot of guns & I've been going through them as best as I can. I found some that were loaded and I managed to unload them, youtube had some videos about it. I have a few that I'm not so sure about so I'm not messing with them. Will it hurt the ones that I think are loaded to stay that way? I have a lot of guns to go through & I can't afford to pay someone to appraise or check them out & I'm not selling my grandpas guns. I have an uncle who knows guns who will help me with them this summer. In the meantime, will storing some of them loaded hurt them to stay loaded? Springs in the clip might wear out right?
